Environmental Policy

UW-ELAST shall produce and market products in polymeric materials and related services of such quality that the expectations and requirements of customers and other stakeholders are fully met and preferably exceeded.

Our policy is to strive for the least possible environmental impact in our operations.

For all our commitments and operations, both external and internal, the following applies:

  • Our use of energy and raw materials shall be efficient.
  • Our chemical management is extensive and shall be characterized by a high level of knowledge and care for both the internal and external environment.
  • Waste volumes from operations shall be minimized, and any waste generated shall be handled in an environmentally sound manner.
  • Our environmental work, regarding approach and application, shall be continuously improved, thereby preventing pollution.
  • We shall comply with applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements that concern us.
  • Our environmental information to employees, the public, customers, suppliers, and authorities shall be clear and factual.

An proactive and positive attitude towards relevant environmental issues is thus the responsibility of all employees.

With well-trained and motivated staff and a well-developed environmental management system, the aforementioned commitments are ensured, thereby creating the conditions for profitability and competitiveness for both our customers and ourselves.

Quality Policy

UW-ELAST shall produce and market products in polymeric materials of such quality that the expectations and requirements of customers and other stakeholders are fully met and preferably exceeded.

The quality of our products and services shall be correct (= as agreed) and consistent.

Our commitments, all our operations, both internal and external, and our products must be regarded as expressions of our quality. Our quality work shall be continuously reviewed, and justified improvements shall be implemented. This is of crucial importance for our competitiveness and profitability, as well as a condition for survival and continued prominent position.

Quality in its broadest sense is therefore everyone’s responsibility.

With well-trained and motivated personnel and a well-developed quality management system, the right quality is ensured at the lowest cost. This also creates conditions for profitability and competitiveness for both our customers and ourselves.

Work Environment Policy

At UW-ELAST, it is important to encourage employee engagement and collaboration. Feeling motivated in one’s work is fundamental for good health.

Through our systematic work environment efforts, we prevent injuries and ill health, and continuously improve our work environment.

The company is responsible for ensuring that employees are not exposed to ill health or accidents at work. Each employee also has a personal responsibility for their own and their colleagues’ work environment.

Every employee is given the conditions to:

  • Be aware of the company’s goals and vision, as well as risks in the work environment
  • Develop in their professional role and understand the importance of their own work
  • Feel responsible for their task and know their authority
  • Consult and participate in decisions regarding work environment issues

We make no distinction between men and women regarding salaries for the same work.

Harassment and bullying are not permitted here. Our approach to each other shall be characterized by respect for each other’s differences and opinions.

We shall at least comply with the laws and other requirements that apply to us.
