Rubber sheet – flat gasket

Watercutting machine

Durable cushioning for mooring, transport, and towing

From a rubber sheet, components can be die-cut or cut to the correct shape, in accordance with the customer’s wishes and requirements. The rubber sheet is available in various thicknesses and materials. This is the most cost-effective option when flat rubber components are required.

The most common materials are wear-resistant rubber of SBR, silicone, EPDM, chloroprene CR, natural rubber NR and nitrile rubber NBR. We source sheet material from several Swedish suppliers, for example Primogum AB in Trosa.

In our press shop, we also produce square sheets measuring 300 x 300 mm in various thicknesses, which can then be cut or die-cut. This gives us great flexibility regarding material and hardness for flat gaskets. All our standard materials and Shore hardnesses can then be used.

The rubber sheet is also available in various hardnesses, typically from 30 Shore up to 80 Shore. For die-cutting, there is an additional cost for a cutting tool.

Cutting rubber plates or rubber sheet!

We have a machine with rotating knives for cutting flat components in rubber and silicone—or why not in various foamed materials.

Flat gaskets.

We would like to highlight our new capability to manufacture flat gaskets. If your requirement is a flat gasket and the external dimensions fit within a 300 x 300 mm square, we can produce flat gaskets on our waterjet cutter without having to develop an expensive mould tool. You can choose any material, any hardness (Shore A), and the thicknesses 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 6.5 mm. Another option is that we cut components for you from a purchased sheet. We purchase rubber sheet or silicone sheet in most materials and thicknesses.

The only additional cost is a minor charge to develop a program for the cutting machine.
