Acrylic Rubber ACM, AEM

Properties and Applications of Acrylic Rubber

Acrylic Rubber ACM, AEM comprises a group of saturated polymers produced from acrylic esters through emulsion polymerization.

These materials exhibit very good resistance to oils, ozone, and temperatures up to approximately 150°C. There are two variants of acrylic rubber: ACM Acrylic Rubber and AEM Ethylene Acrylic Rubber. Today, AEM dominates, primarily with applications in the automotive industry. It can be used without degradation for extended periods in hot oil, at temperatures around 150°C – 170°C.

Used for:

  • Seals.
  • Hoses.
  • Bellows.
