About UW-Elast
UW-ELAST is Scandinavia’s leading manufacturer of molded products in polyurethane, including Vulkollan® and our own Slitan and Trekollan. We have long and extensive experience as problem solvers and suppliers to the industry. Our dialogue with maintenance personnel, designers, and product developers leads us into the most diverse issues regarding wear, abrasion, and corrosion. Everything from large membranes and rollers to centimeter-sized seals has been delivered.
With carefully selected polyurethane qualities, we coat, cast, or spray products to achieve maximum service life. We prefer to be involved as early as the planning and design stage to work with the customer to find the optimal solution.
We are not a large, fully automated industry. Most steps in the process are pure craftsmanship requiring great precision. Skilled craftsmen are what is needed to maintain high and consistent quality from start to finish.
We also perform injection molding of various plastic materials or injection molding of rubber in different qualities. Customers include automotive, marine companies, tools, and protection, among others.
Our customers and partners are found in a wide range of industries and company types. Everything from large, heavy and well-known industries in the steel and paper industries, to small and medium-sized companies investing in our expertise for safer operations and stronger products.
Our Business Concept
As a subcontractor, UW-ELAST shall develop, design, and manufacture products in polymer materials with specific properties in terms of elasticity and wear resistance.
With extensive experience in problem-solving, in-depth materials expertise, and leading production methods, we develop customized solutions and are involved from concept to finished product.
