We are the right partner and a full-service supplier, able to offer our customers a wide range of materials and manufacturing methods. Going forward, we are strengthening investments in our machinery, including to be able to handle more simultaneous processes and larger parts. This means we are significantly increasing our capacity to further guarantee our customers superior service and quality! This is according to Henrik Jungert, CEO of UW-ELAST.

Over the next five years, UW-ELAST will almost double its turnover if everything goes according to plan. With new machines, newly developed technology, and a constant ambition to develop innovative solutions for customers’ needs and applications, the company will continue the rapid and positive pace of development that began as early as 1975!

Being Scandinavia’s leading company in the manufacture of small and large polyurethane products naturally requires continuous development. It also requires that every cog in the highly efficient organisation is more or less self-sufficient.

“One might think we are lucky to have so many highly competent and skilled employees. But I believe it is actually more about skill than luck. We have consistently recruited capable, skilled people who want to move forward and who are open and willing to take on new projects. That is, incidentally, a strong driving force for everyone who works here—whether you are in the office developing a product or the person who ultimately produces the part in our manufacturing—says Henrik Jungert.

One area where UW-ELAST has strengthened its position in recent years is as an active partner in several of customers’ own development projects. When UW-ELAST gets the opportunity to participate early in projects, we can complement customers in a valuable way.

“We see that we can contribute to our customers’ development and match their needs with better—or even new—solutions when we are able to participate as a partner from the very start of their projects. Today, we can often be a valuable partner in the development of our customers’ next generation of products. We are, of course, very proud of that,” says Henrik Jungert.

“Our next step in UW-ELAST’s development is to be able to cast truly large and advanced polyurethane products. It is a major challenge for us. But it is a natural part of our ambition and focus to never rest on our laurels and be satisfied with what we have. We want to keep improving all the time! And we do so by having demanding customers who ensure that we develop and improve,” Henrik Jungert concludes.
