UW-ELAST is currently exploring the possibility of producing its own solar power in direct connection to the factory in Mariestad. The project is in a concept stage and no decisions have been made yet.
A proposed installation would be a ground-based solar park with a maximum capacity of 255 kW. During a normal year, as much as 200,000 kWh could be produced.
