Sheaves can have several different applications, ranging from supporting and guiding cables to holding a drivetrain in place. A polyurethane sheave guarantees a longer lifespan and better durability, leading to increased profitability due to fewer interruptions and wheel replacements. As with many other polyurethane wheels in our production, a metal wheel is coated with polyurethane to form the final surface.

As mentioned earlier, the application for sheaves is precisely what the name implies: allowing a rope or cable to run. Often, these involve metal cables that place high stress on the sheave, which imposes particularly stringent demands on the material. Polyurethane sheaves ensure operational reliability.
