In blasting equipment, our polyurethane is used in both cast and sprayed form as wear protection with excellent results.
A mold has been manufactured to produce inserts for a blasting pot where the return sand rapidly wears through the existing steel material. We apply a release agent to the mold and then spray a layer of polyurethane which, after curing, can be removed and installed in the blasting equipment.
