Slitan

SLITAN® is our name for polyurethanes produced with care and precision to meet the industry's high expectations of quality and performance. They are manufactured by hot-casting, ribbon-flow, Spray and injection moulding.

We use several types of raw materials to adjust the properties to the finished product suitable for specific operating conditions. Every SLITAN® -quality is thoroughly documented by materials used and manufacturing process.

With modern machinery, we are well adapted to manufacture parts in size from a few grams up to several hundred kilo's polyurethane. Manufacture of high quality assured polyurethane products have become a speciality of UW-ELAST AB.

SLITAN® has the following properties:

• Good adhesion.
• Tolerates both low and high temperatures
• Very good load absorption.
• Very good wear resistance.

• Noice damping.

We hot-cast Slitan® -materials for ex:Wheel coverings, roll cover, driving drums, dampers, flanged wheels,
membrane, contact roller, pulleys, truck wheels etc.

We have knowledge of polyurethanes all advantages but also its limitations. For each case we evaluate operating conditions to find a tailor made solution that fits. Then we manufacture with a steady and agreed quality.
We are also able to continously take samples from production to ensure complience.
