 Why use polyurethane?

  • Resistant to mechanical abrasion.
  • Good load absorption capacity and low compressibility.
  • Can handle continous operating temperatures between about -40 degrees C to about +80 degrees C.
  • Good resistance to water and resistant to oil, petrol and many chemicals.
  • Very strong adhesion to other materials such as metal, plastic, concrete etc.
  • Have a sound damping effect and can be used to advantage as a cladding for chutes, cisterns, scrap conveyors etc.

 

Examples of products in polyurethane that we produce today:

Wear parts: Cyclones, diaphragms, scrapers, seals, pump linings, bushings, springs, plow blades pads etc.
Coatings: Rollers, wheels, sheets, transport wheels, chutes, tumbling, vibrating feeders etc.

Polyurethane can have many names

The polyurethane qualities we provide are: Vulkollan® ,Slitan® och Trekollan®.
The names of polyurethane vary greatly in the market and each manufacturer uses its own brand on his polyurethane quality. Ex: Adiprene®, Vibrathane®, Royalcast®, Hyperlast®, Eladip®, Baytec®, Desmodur®, Elasturan®, Elastocoat®, Ureflex®, Imuthane®, Versathane®, Monothane®, Rotakote®, Castomer®, Elastollan® etc.
